On the 30th to 31st of March 2019, SEGA of Japan held their annual event SEGA FES in Akihabara, Tokyo.
SEGA fans gathered in Akihabara that weekend or watched the livestream of the stage events to enjoy the atmosphere of SEGA-ness.

🔵A fan mentioned how good a scene in Sonic Heroes is, and Maekawa-san reacted with tear of joy:
"Oh, somebody here understands that scene well. The CG creator in the US had the most difficulty to understand this scene. No matter how many times I explained, they said -
- 'I don't understand why Rouge winks here. Why?!' and we got into arguments. At the end, Iizuka-san helped me and pushed it through, telling them 'It doesn't matter if you understand it. Just make it as it is directed in the storyboard!'. I still remember that." -
- "I didn't understand why they don't understand it. It was a good opportunity to learn that sometimes there are things people can't agree upon no matter how long they discuss about it, and you have to deal with that premise."
Wow, they didn't understand the scene? That's so sad, I don't understand whny they didn't get it either.
It must've been a hard time for Maekawa-san trying to convince them...
And Iizuka-san did a good job there! Thanks to them we have the great scene as it is meant to be. Good grief.
