April Fool's Day for SEGA is always fun, because they've got this one standard joke:

🔵It's already April Fool's Day in Japan. SEGAOfficial's tweet and SEGA's logo transported from SEGA FES is now... 'GASE'?!

gase ガセ means 'fake' in Japanese. Fitting for the day, right?

Later, SEGA Official had an interview about this incident above asking if it was intentinoal: the answer was no.

ちなみに現代では、コーポレート・ロゴはガイドラインのもと使用されているのが一般的です。クリアスペースや最小サイズ・色など、利用ルールやマニュアルを公開している企業も多いですよね。
