S: What this program is for you ask me - well, this year 2020, there will be many things happening for Sonic. The movie, likely the games, music, and merchandise. In order to liven up the Sonic franchise even more with you all, the 'Sonic 2020 Project' was launched. As a part of this project, we took the challenge to do a livestream in Japan too.

H: So, this year is the year of Olympics, and many things are happening. The console version game has been released, then comes the arcade game, then the smartphone version.

S: Moreover, in the next month in Japan - which is March, so it will be for the spring break - the movie 'Sonic the Movie' will arrive at theaters, and related goods are to come too. That's exciting.

H: Yes. I am a character designer, has been an art director of Sonic games, and now I am creative director and look at various creative (works) in a broader way and do supervisision. Something like that to live up Sonic in Japan, then in Asia.

S: I am working on music of Sonic; for example, for the latest title, 'Team Sonic Racing' released last spring, I worked on many music pieces as the lead composer. And I do live performance of Sonic music as well. So various things whic are music-related.

- "Sonic AT Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games", a smartphone app game, will be released on May 7th!
- This title is a sports action game for Android/iOS, in which Sonic series characters gather together to challenge various Olympic sports while visiting sightseeing spots of Tokyo in 2020. Other than the sports newly included for Tokyo 2020 Olympics, many popular Olympic sports will be playable.

Selectable characters includes not only those from Sonic series but also from Mario series. 12 sports are playable, not only the simple ones such as 100m sprint or triple jump but also those which were newly included for Tokyo 2020, such as sports climbing, surfing and so on. S: They are, but the boxes take up so much space. So I'm so curious about that cereal.

S: Well, I guess it's normal just like other ringed cereal like Cheerios, but my curiosity doesn't stop. What kind of taste would the 'Golden' taste be?

What a fun and laid-back broadcast. I enjoyed it very much! How about you?
It wasn't a mere radio channel but a real livestream in a very nice studio set-up! Hoshino-san and Senoue-san are such legends who are fun and love Sonic very much. I appreciate their effort to make this happen and continue with it. Nanmoku-san did his moderation very well too. Ilike the interaction between these three.
It's nice to hear more behind-the-scenes talk of game development. Exactly what I wanted.
All the merches were cool! And to see Senoue-san being a plush-lover and holding his old buddy Sonic from 1993 was so wholesome. I can't wait to see more of his colletions in the future.
