ParleyMint's interview with Ohtani-san on his Sonic music

News from 2019.03.16

Ohtani-san mentioned in a tweet that he took part in an interview about his musical works of Sonic series, held by ParleyMint and posted on Sonic Retro.

A great man of talent Ohtani-san talks about various styles of music he composed for Sonic series. I'm sure you all have at least one song composed by him which is in your top-10 favorite Sonic tunes list.

Check it out, it's worth a read!
I personally found it cool that the whole song of Endless Possbility from Sonic World Adventure, my favorite, came easily out of his head from the beginning guitar sounds straight to the end.
No wonder it feels so good to listen to!

Announcing New Archive Blog & Update

News from 2019.03.16
Archived on 2019.03.17

It's almost been 2 weeks since I moved my archive blog to here.
At the same time, my Twitter follower count reached 2,222 and over (a cool number!).

To celebrate this, I announced this new archive blog on my Twitter page as follows.

In addition to what's written in Tweets above, I added some more gadgets to make this blog an even more fun place to be.

  • World Map - ClustrMaps

Placed on top right of the blog.
A gadget that shows from which place on the earth people have seen this archive blog.

I love its transparent design with simple blue colored planes which fit my blog's navy color.
The constant rotation makes it look like a miniature decoration, it's really cool just to gaze at.

It reminds me of the world map of Sonic World Adventure (Sonic Unleashed), my absolute favorite  out of all Sonic series games, and hence the gadget name. Really happy to have found it.

You can also stop the rotation when you hover your cursor over the earth. Check how many other people from your place are gathering here!
It makes me happy to know that people around the world are visiting my blog.

  • Sound of Sonic - Spotify Players

Placed at the very bottom of the page.

Collection of top music from Sonic series by each composer + songs from Sonic related artists.
Check them out & if you like the samples, go fetch your Spotify software/browser and listen to complete versions there!

Currently on blog:

  1. SEGA Sound Team (Mixture of all kinds of Sonic songs and BGMs by various composers)
  2. Crush 40
  3. Tomoya Ohtani
  4. Junichi Kanemaru
  5. Hideki Naganuma

More will be added in near future! I am planning to make a special article for each composers too.
