Maekawa-san and the EGGMAN password in Sonic Adventure

Maekawa-san saw an fanart of Team Sonic Racing + Sonic Adventure addressing Eggman's love for Chao (he even made Chao Garden inside Egg Carrier, so yes, he is a Chao lover too), and recalls his contribution to the game...
"I made this sloppy password.
I'd say that the literacy for security back then was low..."

Yep it was Eggman being sloppy with writing out his password in big letters in the middle of a hallway, yeah, totally not us making the gameplay very easy for young players. Not at all.

Hiroshi Kawaguchi-san on Hisashi Suzuki-san's interview

SEGA sound team member Hiroshi Kawaguchi-san (also known as Hiro or recently Hiro Shisho (= Master Hiro) ), the composer for the Space Harrier and After Burner series, tweeted about the article on his former boss Hisashi Suzuki-san.
Yuji Naka-san, who joined SEGA at the same time as Hiro-san, addressed the same interview article a week ago, as summarized in this article by me.

"An interview article of Hisashi Suzuki-san. Suzuki-san is famous for having a long talk. He was an interviewer of my job interview for SEGA, but 80% of the time was me listening to his talk."

Another confirmation that Suzuki-san's talkativeness.

"SEGA AGES series' 7th title "SEGA AGES Puyo Puyo" will be released on March 28th!
In addition to solo and versus play, you can also play against other players online! Also, moves which were not available for the arcade version, such as left and right turn, 2-button operation, or quick turn can be used!"

Naka-san on his current company status:


"I'm answering since I was asked about it; PROPE shrunk the company size by the end of April 2017 and now I am the only one who belongs to it. The "Buddy Monster" which will have its 7th anniversary this June is being taken care of by the operating company. If you would like to, I'll be happy if you play PROPE's apps or games for 3DS such as "StreetPass Mansion / Monster Manor" and "StreetPass Fishing / Ultimate Angler", and "Legend of Coins" which I did a part of programming again after about 20 years from the last time.
I basically only do documentation works and such for PROPE on weekends. On weekdays, I'm developing games for everyone to enjoy at SQUARE ENIX."


It's been about a year since Naka-san joined SQUARE ENIX. I'm glad he is doing fine and having fun developing games there!

Mazin-san at old SEGA HQ once again - the logo is now all gone

Like Naka-san did few days ago, Mazin-san also re-re-visited the old SEGA HQ for the xth times - and tweeted his sadness over the main building without the SEGA logo.
The logo he stated several times before the takedown (here, or there) that would have taken with him if possible, is now comletely gone to nowhere.


Seeing the place he worked for decades to change to something totally foreign must feel weird.

SEGA Official becomes a Taiyaki producer?!

The person behind SEGA Official is trying out new recipe for Taiyaki again!
She already arranged a new recipe once with Natto and it became a popular menu for SEGA's Taiyaki Shop. What sort of cool idea does she have this time?

"Done.
Yes, the combination of corned beef's saltiness and cheese is perfect, and I think they will be tasty together in Taiyaki dough. It's also good for light meal between gaming.
Alright, I'll write up a plan for SEGA's Taiyaki tomorrow! (What's my main job actually?)"


"Since I am a very active person, I came to the Ikebukuro branch of SEGA's Taiyaki shop. They will kindly try out my recipe."

"What recipe you ask me? It's the SEGA Taiyaki's corned beef tryout. I realized it fits well with cheese, so we are using processed cheese as a topping.
It's a straightforward way to follow our company's motto 'Creation is Life' with my footwork - TRY anything! "

It actually looks pretty good! It reminds me of crepe with salty fillings. Sweet Taiyaki dough and salty cheese + corned beef sounds perfect! I wanna try it out...
