As reported in my former article, the sales of new SEGA game "JUDGEMENT" had been suspended due to arrestment of Pierre Taki, the face model and voice actor for Hamura, a character with major role in the game.
Today, SEGA announced an update on the situation as follows:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the character model and Japanese voice for the character of Kyohei Hamura will be adjusted for the Western release of Judgment, launching on June 25, 2019.— SEGA (@SEGA) March 22, 2019
That's a good news! They are going to replace Hamura's model and voice to remove sales suspention in Japan and release the game to the west as planned. They must be working very hard to make up for the unforeseen circumstances, and it shows their sincere attitude towards fans.Screenshots and trailers featuring Hamura have been temporarily removed from all of SEGA’s official channels. Updated versions of these materials will be made available at a later date.— SEGA (@SEGA) March 22, 2019
Let's look forward to the release!
